Endodontics
Also referred as devitalization, endodontics is the specialty that acts in the problems related to the dental pulp (also known as nerve) and peri-radicular areas. The purpose of this treatment is the evacuation and disinfection of the space occupied by the dental pulp and its filling with aseptic material.
Endodontic surgery can also be used to solve problems in the peri-radicular areas from dental pulp or endodontic treatment.
