Orthodontics

Orthodontics

The orthodontics is the dental medicine specialty associated with the study, prevention and treatment of the growth and development disorders of the face, the dental arches and the bite, in other words, the dental and facial dysfunctions.

Misaligned teeth, too protruded (teeth forward) or retracted (teeth backward) can, in addition to damaging the patient's self-esteem, encourage the emergence of various problems such as caries, gum disease or difficulty chewing.

Orthodontic treatment can solve these problems, establishing a better balance between the teeth, lips and face and, above all, restoring the normal function of teeth in motion.
